A past interview with AOA Chanmi's mother is catching attention

A past interview with AOA Chanmi's mother Lim Cheon Suk is catching attention. 

In 2019, Chanmi's mother conducted an interview with the Hankook Ilbo and expressed regret over the fact that Chanmi received her first payment five years after debut. 

She also confessed, "Around Chanmi's third year of debut, I received a call from FNC one day saying Chanmi suffered from depression. I went to see her and Chanmi told me that no matter how hard she tried she never received praise and there was no where for her to go. At the time, I asked Chanmi to leave the company without thinking of the hefty penalty fee. Chanmi, however, said she'd come too far to quit and went back to the company."

Worried that something might happen, her mother took a train to Seoul everyday for two months to see Chanmi and ended up opening a beauty salon downstairs to be close to her. 

Netizens that heard the news stated, "What's wrong with FNC? Is it normal that they paid her five years in? They don't care for their artists..., what a weird agency. How hurt she must've been ᅲᅲ."

Meanwhile, AOA leader Jimin left the group over bullying rumors of former member Mina.
