Lee Hyori apologizes to fans after BLACKPINK overtakes SSAK3 for first place on 'Music Core'

BLACKPINK has overtaken SSAK3 for first place on 'Music Core' without an appearance.

On the episode that aired on the 25th, BLACKPINK song 'How You Like That', SSAK3 debut song 'In Summer' and Hwasa's song 'Maria' were nominated for first place. Hwasa came in 3rd place with 6,240 points while SSAK3 came in 2nd place with 7,012 points.

BLACKPINK took home their 12th win with 8,023 points and also earned a triple crown on 'Music Core.' BLACKPINK topped 'Music Core' and 'Show Champion' on the 25th. 

Lee Hyori (Linda G) apologized to fans for the loss on their debut stage and stated, "I'm sorry. It's sad but congratulations to BLACKPINK. Thank you for making our first broadcast stage amazing. I'm happy to be performing on the same stage as my juniors. Thank you."

This episode featured performances by SSAK3, Lee Hi, SOMI, Red Velvet's Irene & Seulgi, J PINK, Jeong Sewoon, 1THE9, MustB, 3YE, DONGKIZ, TOO, E’LAST, Weeekly, XRO, Sook Haeng, Kang Sori, and Ahn Sung Hoon."
